Contractors that need disciplined submittal control without immediately adding another full-time employee

1. What This Service Does

Submittals are where paperwork can quietly become a schedule problem. Incomplete vendor data, missing certifications, inconsistent packages, slow review cycles and uncontrolled revisions can delay procurement and field installation long before anyone sees the impact in the field.

Remote Project Engineer manages the administrative side of the submittal process from the Master Submittal Register through the final approved record. We organize the required information, prepare complete submission packages, track review status, manage resubmittals and keep the project team informed of what is open, pending, returned or approved.

The result: your Project Manager spends less time rebuilding packages and chasing status, while the project maintains a clearer, more controlled submittal record.

2. What Is Included

3. How the Process Works

Every submittal follows the same controlled path. That consistency gives the contractor a repeatable workflow instead of a collection of emails, PDFs and individual follow-ups.

RPE customer workflow – from register and intake through disposition and release

4. What RPE Reviews – and What We Do Not Approve

RPE performs an administrative and documentation review. We compare the package to the identified project requirement, check whether the expected data is present, organize the submission and flag missing or inconsistent information for follow-up.

RPE does not make the Architect / Engineer’s design decision, certify engineering compliance, or approve products on behalf of the contractor or design professional.

5. Responsibilities and Handoffs

Clear responsibility is part of the service standard. RPE controls the administrative workflow, but the contractor and design team retain their proper authority.

8. Systems and Record Control
